Proof, not promises.
Four little worlds, from three not-so-small businesses and a nonprofit who trusted me to see them for who they are. Wander if you wish.
Zen Zone
A calm, welcoming home for a Lawrenceburg wellness studio — smoothies, float pods, massage and yoga, all in one serene place.
- The problem
- One WordPress page, half the links going nowhere, Square only half connected, and nothing on it that told you they made smoothies. They came to me for a quick touch-up and ended up with a full makeover.
- What I built
- One bright, unhurried home where smoothies, float pods, massage and yoga stop competing for attention. Hours, phone and ordering sit up top where a first-time visitor actually looks, and every path leads to the same clear next step: Book Now. Their old domain was gone by the time we started, so I found them a better one — a name that actually suits the place.
- How it feels now
- It feels fun. Everyone in and out of Zen Zone is an endless bottle of joy, and I think the site feels that way too.
Dearborn County CASA
A warm, trustworthy home for a Lawrenceburg coalition that has fought substance abuse and stood up for local kids since 1989.
- The problem
- Four years since the last update, thirty-odd pages they could not safely touch, images at whatever size they happened to land — and a donation platform taking a cut out of every gift that came in. Every time they tried to fix it themselves, they hit a wall.
- What I built
- All of it sorted into a home built around the people it serves — youth ambassadors, grants, scholarships and jobs each given real room — with Donate Now reachable from anywhere on the page. Thirty-five years of standing up for local kids, said plainly.
- How it feels now
- It is full of hard work and effort now. It shows love and care right at the front, because it is the kids we care about most.
T-N-T Septic Service
A clean, trustworthy site for a family septic company — pumping, portable restrooms and Terralift across Indiana and Kentucky.
- The problem
- They already had a website, and it cost them three to four times what I charge. Keeping it running had turned into one more thing on the pile.
- What I built
- Real photographs of the family actually doing the work, a service area stated plainly across Indiana and Kentucky, and the phone number treated as the most important element on the page — because in this trade the call is the conversion. They get more calls now than they ever have.
- How it feels now
- The firmest handshake you will ever get. Honest, hard work from humble people.
Jim Carmichael
A sharp, professional presence for a commercial real estate advisor helping investors and owners make confident moves.
- The problem
- No website at all — just a visual mockup he had paid someone to draw, and nothing built from it. The quotes in front of him ran the meter by the hour, with no telling where it stopped.
- What I built
- I built his mockup exactly, to the letter — then made it lead with the thinking instead of the inventory, "advisor first, services second," with commercial, property management and residential split cleanly and Book a Meeting always within reach.
- How it feels now
- Top-tier professionalism at its best. No doubt you are working with the best and brightest when you are working with Jim.
